How do societal networks of politicians, media, organisations and populist actors influence public goods and their access? This is one of the questions that the VALPOP project aims to answer.
Through an ambitious data collection, entailing close to 180 million public articles from media, business and government sources, the project will investigate how societal networks and their degree of populism, defined as “networked populism”, influence the valuation and distribution of public goods in Europe. The aim is to raise awareness of their influence, increase the transparency of public goods governance and usage and strengthen the control mechanisms.
The main role of In-JeT is to manage communication and dissemination and support stakeholder engagement.
