Ballerup Municipality

Ballerup Kommune is a independent suburbian municipality of Copenhagen in the Capital Region. The Municipality has 47.000 inhabitants and covers 3.409 ha halfway between the fiord of Roskilde and the Øresund Sound and 15 km from Central Copenhagen. Ballerup has a prosperous economic life, attractive housing areas, a thriving sporting and cultural life as well as a vast number of green areas. Ballerup is active promoting inclusion of citizens in the democratic process and is webcasting all council meetings using webcasting systems from In-JeT.
