Gladsaxe Municipality

Gladsaxe Kommune is located in the Capital Region and is surrounded by Copenhagen, Gentofte, Lyngby Taarbaek, Furesø and Herlev municipalities. The municipality has 66,041 inhabitants. The municipality consists of the following now fused indigenous villages: Gladsaxe, Buddinge, Bagsværd and Mørkhøj. Until 1909 Herlev was also part of Gladsaxe.
